Bis Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts floss diese Quelle frei auf einer Wiese, wo sie aufgefangen wurde. Die Meyerbeer-Wanderung, die auf den Namen des berühmten deutschen Komponisten (1791 - 1864) getauft wurde, ist eine charmanter Wanderweg mit kleine Wasserfällen, der Barisart, Géronstère verbindet.
