Beschreibung
Die Steigung wurde insgesamt 19 Mal (1976-1987, 2002-2006, 2008, 2009) in die Runde aufgenommen. Früher gab es zunächst noch 120 m Asphalt am Fuße der Steigung, seit der Erneuerung im Jahr 2002 gibt es also mehr Kopfsteinpflaster. Da die Koppenberg 2007 nicht in der Runde war, wurde sie von der Stadt Oudenaarde erneut überarbeitet. Die Kopfsteine liegen nun fester dank einer Art Zement. Schwerer Verkehr ist verboten.
