Die Fagne de la Poleûr besteht überwiegend aus Torfmooren: Niedermoor, Hangmoor, degradierter Hochmoor und Torfland mit Molinia. In der Peripherie sind einige Fragmente von Nardus-Präriel und Trockenei geblieben.
Öffentlicher Zugang: Öffentliches Betreten ist auf den Wegen erlaubt, auch wenn die rote Fahne gehisst ist (Brandgefahr). Didaktische Schilder vor Ort, Faltblatt und Führer sind im Naturzentrum von Botrange, im Informationsbüro der D.N.F. in Botrange, an der wissenschaftlichen Station der Hohen Fagne und im Naturgeschäft der R.N.O.B. (Maison Liégeoise de l'Environnement) erhältlich.
