The Fagne de la Poleûr is mainly composed of peatland environments: low marshes, slope bogs, degraded raised bogs, and peat heaths with molinia. On the periphery, a few fragments of sedge and dry heath remain.
Public Access: Public access is allowed on the paths even if the red flag is raised (fire danger). Educational panels are on-site, and brochures and guidebooks are available at the Botrange Nature Center, the D.N.F. information office in Botrange, the Hautes-Fagnes scientific station, and the nature shop of the R.N.O.B (Liège House of the Environment).
