Die Sint-Petrus-und-Paulus-Kirche = Der Schiefe Turm von Schelle: Er sieht nicht so spektakulär aus wie der Turm von Pisa, aber wenn man sich Schelle aus Hemiksem nähert, spricht der Neigungswinkel doch zur Vorstellungskraft: Der 52,9 m hohe Spitz hängt ganze 1,15 m schief. Wie es dazu kommt, dass der Turm schief steht, bleibt ein Rätsel. Bei dem Bau soll er durch einen Windstoß schief gesackt oder durch instabilen Untergrund abgesackt sein. Aber es gibt auch verschiedene Mythen über diesen Schiefen Turm.
