Das Provinzialgebiet Nieuwdonk liegt am linken Ufer der Schelde und hat den Donksee als einen seiner Nachbarn.
Es wurde ein Spielplatz angelegt, der den Eingangsbereich betont und robuster macht. Dafür haben sie Natur und Spiel aufeinander abgestimmt. Es gibt gewundene Werte: parallele Streifen, die allmählich vom Wasser ansteigen. Außerdem gibt es zahlreiche Holzspielgeräte.
Wie gewohnt ist auf der Spielwiese, am Strand, in der Badezone oder im Aquapark noch mehr Entspannung möglich. Auf dem großen Teich können Wassersportler segeln, surfen, rudern und tauchen. Tierliebhaber eilen zur Streichelwiese. Erholungssuchende finden ihr Glück auf den Wander- und Radwegen.
