Der Dudenpark ist nach einem deutschen Industrieunternehmer und dem ehemaligen Eigentümer des Geländes im 19. Jahrhundert benannt, der hier ein Schloss errichten ließ, das bis heute erhalten ist. Er schenkte das Ganze 1900 an König Leopold II, unter der Bedingung, dass es ein öffentlicher Park werden sollte. Was die Gebäude betrifft, so sind das Schloss Mosselman (unten im Park) und insbesondere das Schloss Duden (oben, erbaut zwischen 1873-1875), beide im neoklassizistischen Stil, die Hauptattraktionen. Der beträchtliche Höhenunterschied im Park ist ebenfalls charakteristisch für die Region rund um Brüssel, das Zenne-Tal und seine kleinen Nebenflüsse. Ebenfalls erwähnenswert sind einige der schönsten 'bemerkenswerten Bäume' der Region.
