Der ca. 16 km lange Stausee kann komplett mit dem Fahrrad umrundet werden. Wanderer können den lehrreichen Wasser- und Waldpfad gehen, der bis zum Besucherzentrum der Wesertalsperre führt, in dem man sich vom anstrengenden Marsch erholen kann. Kinder ab 2 Jahren können sich auf einem großen Spielplatz austoben. Der Turm an der Wesertalsperre dient als größte Kletterwand der Euregio und kann auch für Gruppen gemietet werden.
