't Schipke an der Nete war vor 100 Jahren ein Fährhaus und gleichzeitig Herberge und Bauernhof an der Großen Nete. Die Brücke, die jetzt dort liegt, macht die Fähre selbstverständlich nutzlos. Doch wird auch jährlich die erste Ladung Muscheln der Saison feierlich mit dem Boot über den Fluss gebracht. Die Taverne ist auch aus dem Film Pallieter bekannt, von dem einige Szenen aufgenommen wurden. Wenn es wieder möglich ist, ist die Taverne ein idealer Rastplatz.
