't Schipke aan de Nete was 100 jaar geleden een veerhuis en tegelijk herberg en boerderij aan de Grote Nete. De brug die er nu ligt maakt het veer uiteraard nutteloos. Toch wordt nog jaarlijks de eerste lading mosselen van het seizoen plechtig per boot over de rivier aangevoerd. De taverne is ook bekend van de film Pallieter, waarvan er enkele scenes opgenomen werden. Wanneer het terug kan, is de taverne een ideale rustplaats.
