't Schipke sur la Nete était, il y a 100 ans, une maison de ferry et en même temps une auberge et une ferme sur la Grande Nete. Le pont qui s'y trouve maintenant rend bien sûr le ferry inutile. Pourtant, chaque année, la première cargaison de moules de la saison est solennellement amenée par bateau à travers la rivière. La taverne est également connue grâce au film Pallieter, dont certaines scènes ont été tournées ici. Lorsque cela redevient possible, la taverne est un lieu de repos idéal.
