Walram Rombout (1598 - 1668) war ein bekannter Kunsthandwerker. Er war der Schöpfer der Orgel, des Lettners und der Kanzel in der Kirche und vieler anderer Kunstwerke.

Das weiße Dorf Lissewege, das zu den zehn schönsten Dörfern Flanderns zählt, ist im Sommer für seine Skulpturenroute bekannt.
