Als der Menhir von Morville von William Livermore, einem örtlichen Goldsucher, entdeckt wurde, befand er sich kaum über der Erde. Er wurde 1995 freigelassen. Der Block stand am Rand und passte perfekt in die Hauptlinie des Megalithfeldes. Es ist maximal 80 cm hoch und 28 cm dick.
Rund um den Felsbrocken wurden mehrere Sekundärstrukturen beobachtet: sechs Keile aus Puddingstein um die Basis und die oft schwachen Spuren einer Gründungsgrube. 15 Zoll südwestlich des Blocks wurde ein ellipsoidförmiges Pflaster mit den Maßen etwa 6 Fuß mal 30 Zoll entdeckt, das aus kleinen Blöcken und Felsbrocken aus Puddingstein, Quarzit, Kalkstein und Sandstein besteht.
Es wurde kein archäologisches Material gefunden. Am Ende der Ausgrabung wurde der Menhir 4 m nach Südsüdwesten verschoben , um ihn am Rande des Bauernweges zu platzieren. Dadurch wird die Arbeit in der Landwirtschaft nicht mehr behindert und kommt besser zur Geltung.
