Sowohl die Kirche als auch der alte Friedhof und die ihn umgebende Steinmauer stammen aus dem Jahr 1702 , das Pfarrhaus wurde 1790 erbaut.
Die heutige Kirche ist die dritte Kirche, die an dieser Stelle gebaut wurde. Die Kirche ist eine Hallenkirche, was bedeutet, dass „das Kirchenschiff und die Seitenschiffe von gleicher Breite und Höhe sind und über die gesamte Höhe miteinander verbunden sind.“
In die Fassade ist das Wappen der Fürsten von Löwenstein eingraviert, das eine von zwei Löwen getragene Krone darstellt. Direkt darüber ist die Jahreszahl 1702 eingraviert.
Die Kirche und der Friedhof sind seit 1994 von der Royal Commission for Monuments and Sites klassifiziert . Der als „barock“ beschriebene Glockenturm hat eine kugelförmige Silhouette, die durch eine elegante Turmspitze mit zwei Krägen verlängert wird.
