Both the church and the old cemetery and the stone wall surrounding it date from 1702 , the parsonage was built in 1790.
The current church is the third church built on this location. The church is a hall church, which means that "the nave and the aisles are of equal width and height and are connected to each other over the entire height."
The facade is engraved with the coat of arms of the Princes of Loewenstein, which depicts a crown supported by two lions. The year 1702 is engraved just above it.
The church and cemetery have been classified by the Royal Commission for Monuments and Sites since 1994. The bell tower, described as “baroque”, has a spherical silhouette, extended by an elegant spire with two collars.
