Mit seinen Friedenstauben und seinen 8 Gedenktafeln symbolisiert das Werk den Frieden auf der ganzen Welt, in Belgien, zwischen Wallonen und Flamen, zwischen Religionen, zwischen Industrie und Landwirtschaft, zwischen Nachbarn, in der Stadt Eupen und der Familie.
