Riex war bis zum 1. Juli 2011 eine politische Gemeinde im Distrikt Lavaux-Oron im Kanton Waadt in der Schweiz. Sie fusionierte mit Cully, Epesses, Grandvaux und Villette zur neuen politischen Gemeinde Bourg-en-Lavaux.
Riex liegt auf 443 m ü. M., neun Kilometer ostsüdöstlich der Kantonshauptstadt Lausanne . Das Winzerdorf erstreckt sich auf einer kleinen Verebnungsfläche inmitten der Weinberge am Steilhang des Lavaux, am Südhang des Mont de Gourze an aussichtsreicher Lage rund 70 m über dem Seespiegel des Genfersees.
