Der Bahnhof Liestal ist ein Bahnhof in der Schweiz, in der Gemeinde Liestal und dem Kanton Basel-Landschaft. Der Bahnhof liegt an der Hauptstrecke Hauenstein der Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen, die Basel und Olten verbindet. Er wird stündlich von fünf Zügen nach Basel, vier Zügen nach Olten und stündlichen Zügen nach Interlaken, Luzern und Zürich bedient. Mehrere Züge pro Tag verkehren nach Frankfurt und Berlin. Der Bahnhof ist auch der Anschluss und Endpunkt der Waldenburger Schmalspurbahn, die einen halbstündlichen Zugdienst nach Waldenburg betreibt. Die Waldenburger Linie wird im April 2021 für den Umbau auf 1.000 mm Spurweite geschlossen.
