Mit Holzbrücke Rapperswil–Hurden werden die prähistorischen Seequerungen im Bereich des Seedamms sowie historische Brückenbauten, wie die in den Jahren 1358 bis 1360 im Auftrag von Rudolf IV. von Habsburg-Österreich erbaute hölzerne Brücke und bis 1878 nutzbare Neubauten bezeichnet. Diese stellten eine Fussgänger- und Wagen-Verbindung zwischen Rapperswil und Hurden auf dem Gebiet des oberen Zürichsees her.
Prähistorische Pfahlreste und Anhäufungen von Quadersteinen datieren eine während mehreren Jahrhunderten genutzte erste Seequerung zwischen den jungsteinzeitlichen Siedlungen Rapperswil-Jona-Technikum und Freienbach-Hurden-Rosshorn um das Jahr 1525 v. Chr.; eine ins späte zweite Jahrhundert datierte römische Holzbrücke ist archäologisch nachgewiesen.
