Die Melezza ist ein rund 42 Kilometer langer rechter Nebenfluss der Maggia. Sie durchfließt den obersten Teil des Valle Vigezzo im italienischen Piemont als männlicher Melezzo orientale und anschließend das Centovalli im Schweizer Kanton Tessin als weibliche Melezza.
Wenig südwestlich entspringt der Melezzo occidentale , der anfangs parallel verläuft, bevor er bei Druogno nach Westen abknickt, das Valle Vigezzo durchfließt und schließlich bei Domodossola in den Toce mündet.
