In der Schweiz wird die EGS zwar auf kantonaler Ebene von der Walliser Regierung anerkannt, auf Bundesebene jedoch nicht von der Konferenz der Schweizer Universitäten. [1] In Malta verfügt es über eine föderale Akkreditierung, die in der Europäischen Union gültig ist. [2]
