Das Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin ist gemäß Artikel 38 Absatz 1 der Verfassung von Berlin die Volksvertretung bzw. das Landesparlament von Berlin und deren oberstes Verfassungsorgan.
Zwischen 1947 und 1950 hatte die Berliner Stadtverordnetenversammlung der Nachkriegszeit den Auftrag, eine neue Verfassung für Berlin auszuarbeiten . Nach der ersten freien Wahl am 20. Oktober 1946 in Berlin konstituierte sich die Stadtverordnetenversammlung am 26. November 1946.
