St. Wendel () ist die Kreisstadt des gleichnamigen Landkreises im Nordosten des Saarlandes. Sie liegt rund 36 km nordöstlich der Landeshauptstadt Saarbrücken und ist nach dem heiligen Wendelin benannt.
St. Wendel liegt an der Blies am Fuß bzw. westlich des Bosenbergs auf einer Höhe von 286 m ü. NN. . Höchste Erhebung ist der Bosenberg mit 485 m, die tiefste Stelle mit 260 m ist die Stelle, an der die Blies das Stadtgebiet nach Ottweiler verlässt.
