Kitzen ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Pegau im Landkreis Leipzig in Sachsen. Vor dem 1. Januar 2012 war Kitzen eine eigenständige Gemeinde.
Kitzen liegt in der Leipziger Tieflandsbucht, am Rande des Leipziger Neuseenlandes und an der Grenze zu Sachsen-Anhalt. Das Zentrum des Ortes befindet sich etwa 17 km südwestlich von der Innenstadt von Leipzig und 18 km östlich von Weißenfels.
