Ebergötzen ist eine Gemeinde und der Verwaltungssitz der Samtgemeinde Radolfshausen im Landkreis Göttingen in Südniedersachsen .
Bekannt ist der Ort vor allem deshalb, weil der Zeichner und Dichter Wilhelm Busch hier von 1841 bis 1846 den größten Teil seiner Schulzeit verbracht hat. Die Mühle, die bei Max und Moritz eine zentrale Rolle spielt, gehörte dem Vater seines Freundes Erich Bachmann.
