Der Landkreis Calw ist eine Gebietskörperschaft mit 160.686 Einwohnern im Regierungsbezirk Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemberg. Er gehört zur Region Nordschwarzwald. Verwaltungssitz des Landkreises ist die Große Kreisstadt Calw.
Landschaftlich gehört das Gebiet des Landkreises Calw überwiegend zum Nordschwarzwald, lediglich im Osten und Süden zählen einige Orte zum Gäu bzw. Schwarzwaldvorland. Bedeutende Flüsse im Kreisgebiet sind Enz und Nagold, die mit ihrem Verlauf ein dreiseitiges Plateau bilden, welches im Zentrum des Kreisgebiets liegt und als Enz-Nagold-Platte bezeichnet wird.
