Deggenhausertal ist eine Gemeinde im Bodensee-Hinterland, etwa neun Kilometer nördlich von Markdorf und Salem im Bodenseekreis in Baden-Württemberg.
Die Gemeinde Deggenhausertal liegt im Norden des Bodenseekreises, eingebettet zwischen Gehrenberg , Höchsten und Heiligenberg , an der Grenze zu den Landkreisen Sigmaringen und Ravensburg. Mit einer Fläche von 62,18 km² ist sie eine der größten Gemeinden im Bodenseekreis. Das Gemeindegebiet erstreckt sich in hügeliger Landschaft mit seinen beiden Tälern auf Höhen zwischen 466 m und 833 m ü. NN. 96 % der Gemeindefläche werden land- oder forstwirtschaftlich genutzt.
