Hohenleimbach ist die höchstgelegene Ortsgemeinde der Verbandsgemeinde Brohltal und befindet sich in deren Westen. Die Hohe Acht als höchste Erhebung in der Eifel befindet sich ca. fünf Kilometer südwestlich vom Ort Hohenleimbach entfernt.
