Braunsdorf war eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Greiz in Thüringen. Am 1. Dezember 2011 wurde sie ein Teil der Landgemeinde Stadt Auma-Weidatal.
Zu Braunsdorf gehörte der Ortsteil Tischendorf. Angrenzende Gemeinden sind Harth-Pöllnitz im Landkreis Greiz sowie Mittelpöllnitz und die Stadt Triptis im Saale-Orla-Kreis.
