Schladen ist ein Ortsteil und Verwaltungssitz der Gemeinde Schladen-Werla im Landkreis Wolfenbüttel .
Schladen liegt südsüdöstlich des Oderwalds im nördlichen Harzvorland zwischen der Kreisstadt Wolfenbüttel im Norden und Vienenburg im Süden, südwestlich liegt Goslar und südlich Bad Harzburg. Es wird in Süd-Nord-Richtung von der Oker durchflossen, in die hiesig die Wedde einmündet.
