Schalkenbach im Vinxtbachtal ist eine Ortsgemeinde im Landkreis Ahrweiler in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie gehört der Verbandsgemeinde Brohltal an, die ihren Verwaltungssitz in Niederzissen hat.
Die Gemeinde liegt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet „Rhein-Ahr-Eifel“. Zu Schalkenbach gehören neben dem Hauptort die Ortsteile Untervinxt, Mittelvinxt und Obervinxt sowie der Wohnplatz „Waldgut Schirmau“.
