Bad Wurzach ist eine kleine Kurstadt in Oberschwaben und ältestes Moorheilbad Baden-Württembergs. Der Fläche nach ist Bad Wurzach nach Stuttgart und Baiersbronn die drittgrößte Gemeinde des Bundeslandes und beispielsweise größer als das Fürstentum Liechtenstein.
Bad Wurzach liegt in einer weiten Niederung zwischen dem Allgäu und Oberschwaben am Rande des Wurzacher Rieds in 650 bis 800 Meter Höhe.
