Es war der erste internationale Prozess seiner Art, und mit siebenundzwanzig Jahren war Benjamin Ferencz der jüngste Ankläger. Er führte den Fall gegen die Führer der Einsatzgruppen, umherziehende Todesschwadronen, die für die Ermordung von über einer Million Zivilisten in Osteuropa verantwortlich waren.
