Holzgerlingen [hɔlt͡sˈɡɛr.lɪ.ŋən] ist eine Stadt in Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland, die zum Landkreis Böblingen gehört.
Holzgerlingen befindet sich auf der Schönbuchlichtung, fünf Kilometer südlich von Böblingen. Die Altstadt liegt 475 m über dem Meer auf der Wasserscheide zwischen der Aich, die einen Kilometer südöstlich im Stadtgebiet entspringt, nach Osten fließt und bei Nürtingen in den Neckar mündet, und der westwärts nach Pforzheim fließenden Würm, die drei Kilometer südlich im Gemeindegebiet von Altdorf ans Tageslicht tritt.
