Der Schliffkopf liegt an der Schwarzwaldhochstraße im Nationalpark Schwarzwald, zwischen Baiersbronn, Ottenhöfen und Oppenau, und ist Standort eines gleichnamigen Vier-Sterne-Wellness-Hotels, dem Nationalpark-Hotel Schliffkopf. Mehrere Fernwanderwege, darunter der Westweg, führen über den Schliffkopf.
