Der Schauinsland im Schwarzwald ist der 1283,9 m ü. NHN hohe Hausberg von Freiburg im Breisgau und ein Ausflugsziel. Früher hieß er wegen des Silberbergbaus „Erzkasten“; der Name „Schouwesland“ taucht 1347 erstmals auf. Er liegt rund zehn Kilometer südöstlich der Freiburger Stadtmitte.
