Das CJD Jugenddorf-Christophorusschule Oberurff wurde im Jahre 1953 gegründet und gehört zum Christlichen Jugenddorfwerk Deutschlands. Bekannt ist sie auch seit 1977 durch ihr Legastheniezentrum mit angeschlossenem Internat sowie die wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen zu diesem Thema, bei dem sie als Referenz dient.
