Kloster Seligenthal wurde 1231 als Franziskanerkloster von Graf Heinrich von Sayn und seiner Frau Mechthild von Landsberg in Seligenthal, heute einem Stadtteil von Siegburg gegründet. Die Klosterkirche wurde im rheinischen Übergangsstil erbaut. 1803 wurde das Kloster der Minoriten im Zuge der Säkularisation aufgelöst. Seit 2019 haben sich Eremittinen „unserer Lieben Frau vom Berge Karmel“ angesiedelt.
