Die Königsallee, kurz Kö genannt, ist ein in nordsüdlicher Richtung verlaufender Boulevard im Stadtzentrum von Düsseldorf. Die Kö ist eine der führenden Luxuseinkaufsstraßen Europas. Charakteristisch für ihre Gestaltung sind der Stadtgraben und der eindrucksvolle Baumbestand. Mit fast durchgehend 87 Metern ist sie, von Haus- zu Hausfassade gemessen, die breiteste Straße Deutschlands. Statt der gewohnten zwei hat sie vier Gehwege – zwei an den Seiten des Grabens und je einen entlang der Häuserzeilen. Die westliche, traditionell weniger begangene Seite mit – im Nordteil – nur wenigen Läden wird auch als „Bankenseite“ oder „stille Seite“ bezeichnet.
