St. Maria im Kapitol ist ein frühromanischer katholischer Kirchenbau in Köln und die größte romanische Kirche der Stadt. Sie ist die älteste der für die Romanik des nördlichen Rhein-Maas-Gebietes typischen Dreikonchenanlagen. Sie ist eine der zwölf romanischen Basiliken in der Altstadt Kölns, deren Erhalt vom Förderverein Romanische Kirchen Köln unterstützt wird. Der Namenszusatz im Kapitol weist auf die zuvor an der Stelle befindliche römische Tempelanlage hin. Dieser Tempel lag in einem 100 × 70 Meter großen Tempelhof. St. Maria im Kapitol hat vom Eingang bis zur Ostkonchenspitze eine Länge von etwa 73 Metern. Von der Spitze der Nord- zur Südkonche beträgt der Wert etwa 63 Meter, das Langhaus ist etwa 24 Meter breit.
