Die KraussMaffei Group ist heute ein Unternehmen der Maschinenbaubranche mit Sitz in München. Der heutige Konzern beschäftigt über 5.000 Menschen weltweit und ist seit April 2016 im Besitz eines Konsortiums, das aus der chinesischen Staatsfirma ChemChina sowie dem Staatsfonds Guoxin International besteht.
Daneben gibt es am Hauptstandort in München-Allach mit Krauss-Maffei Wegmann und Siemens Mobility noch zwei weitere ehemalige Konzernteile, die in der Firmengeschichte eine prägende Rolle spielten, inzwischen aber rechtlich selbständig sind und zudem jeweils anderen Eigentümern gehören.
