Das Staatliche Maximiliansgymnasium München, genannt Max, ist eine koedukative humanistische Schule in München-Schwabing und das drittälteste Gymnasium der Stadt. Das Fach Latein wird ab der fünften Jahrgangsstufe unterrichtet, Altgriechisch ist ab der achten Jahrgangsstufe obligatorisch. Das Gebäude des Gymnasiums ist als Baudenkmal in die Bayerische Denkmalliste eingetragen.
Derzeitiger Schulleiter ist Thomas Bednar. Bis 2020 war er stellvertretender Schulleiter am Max. Der Ehemalige Schulleiter Hans Orgeldinger wurde am 14. Februar 2020 von der gesamten Schule verabschiedet und somit wurde Thomas Bednar Schulleiter und Christian Höflinger stellvertretender Schulleiter.
