Das Römische Theater in der rheinland-pfälzischen Landeshauptstadt Mainz wurde Ende der 1990er Jahre freigelegt. Es befindet sich in direkter Nachbarschaft des Bahnhofs Mainz Römisches Theater und war mit einem Durchmesser von 116 m und einer Bühnenbreite von 42 m einst das größte römische Bühnentheater nördlich der Alpen. Das Theater bot Platz für ca. 10.000 Besucher.
