Der Zoologische Stadtgarten Karlsruhe ist ein Stadtgarten mit Zoo in der Südweststadt von Karlsruhe. Ihm zugehörig ist das Außengebiet Tierpark Oberwald südöstlich der Stadt. Auf einer Fläche von rund 22 Hektar zuzüglich dem Tierpark Oberwald mit einer Fläche von 16 Hektar leben rund 3000 Tiere in mehr als 240 Arten. Der Stadtgarten liegt nördlich des Hauptbahnhofs und südlich des Karlsruher Kongresszentrums zwischen den Karlsruher Stadtvierteln Südstadt und Südweststadt. Der Zoo wurde 1865 eröffnet und zählt damit zu den ältesten in Deutschland. Stadtgarten und Zoo bilden ein gemeinsames, umfriedetes Gelände und können nicht separat besucht werden. Das Gelände wird von zwei städtischen Behörden betreut, dem Gartenbauamt und dem Zoo. Der Zoologische Stadtgarten steht in seiner Gesamtheit unter Denkmalschutz.
