Der Zoo Frankfurt wurde 1858 in Frankfurt am Main eröffnet und ist damit, nach dem Zoologischen Garten Berlin, der zweitälteste Zoo Deutschlands.
Der Zoo Frankfurt befindet sich am östlichen Rand der Innenstadt, in gerader Verlängerung der Haupteinkaufsstraße Zeil, Ecke Alfred-Brehm-Platz im Stadtteil Ostend. In der Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee befinden sich das Gesellschaftshaus, der Haupteingang und der U-Bahnhof Zoo. Dort ist der Zoo durch die Linien U6 und U7 der U-Bahn Frankfurt sowie die Straßenbahnlinie 14 an das öffentliche Nahverkehrsnetz angebunden.
