Petkum (Ostfriesisch: Petjem) ist ein Dorf im deutschen Bundesland Niedersachsen. Bis 1972 war es Teil des Landkreises Leer, seitdem gehört es verwaltungstechnisch zur Stadt Emden.
Das kleine Dorf, dessen älteste Siedlung auf einer Warft an der Ems liegt, hat eine lange Geschichte. 2006 feierte Petkum das 1200-jährige Bestehen des Dorfes. Die Dorfkirche wurde im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut. Das Dorf ist mit einer Fähre mit Ditzum auf der anderen Seite des Flusses verbunden.
