EMV-Profi war eine deutsche Einkaufs- und Marketingkooperation von rechtlich selbständigen Baumärkten, Holz- und Baufachmärkten sowie Gartencentern. Er wurde 1997 von 37 Mitgliedern der EK Großeinkauf gegründet, da diese nicht mit Gründung der ZEUS einverstanden waren. Dies führte dazu, dass die von EK initiierten Baufuchs-Baumärkte teilweise der Zeus und teilweise dem EMV zuzuordnen waren. Der erste Geschäftsführer des EMV war Peter Lang, der zuvor 13 Jahre Geschäftsführer der EK-Tochter DIY Zentraleinkauf war.
