Das Olympiagelände befindet sich am westlichen Rand des Berliner Ortsteils Westend im Bezirk Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
Zum Reichssportfeld, dem Gelände der Olympischen Sommerspiele 1936, gehörten neben dem Olympiastadion das Deutsche Sportforum, das Olympia-Schwimmstadion, die Waldbühne, das Maifeld, der Glockenturm mit Langemarckhalle, das Hockey-Olympiastadion, das Olympia-Reiterstadion und die Stadionterrassen. Auf dem ehemaligen Wurfplatz des Sportforums befindet sich heute das Olympiapark Amateurstadion.
