Rotberg ist ein Gemeindeteil des Ortsteils Waltersdorf der Gemeinde Schönefeld im Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald. Die ehemals selbstständige Gemeinde liegt südlich von Berlin unweit des Flughafens Berlin-Schönefeld im Land Brandenburg.
Im Jahr 1316 wurde der von deutschen Kolonisten gegründete Ort Rotberg als Rodeses erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Vermutlich gab es aufgrund der slawischen Grundform des Namens zuvor schon eine wendische Niederlassung. Der Ortsname kann sich vom deutschen Wort für Rodung ableiten wie vom slawischen rot, was so viel wie nasses Gelände bedeutet.
