Das Deutsche Damast- und Frottiermuseum im sächsischen Großschönau zeigt einen Einblick in die Deutsche Textilgeschichte anhand von funktionstüchtigen, historischen Großschönauer Webstühlen für Leinwand, Damast, Jaquardware und Frottiergewebe. So sieht man die textile Kette vom Garn bis zur fertigen Konfektion.
Das Museum zeigt technische Raritäten, die es nur noch in Großschönau gibt: einen funktionstüchtigen, rekonstruierten Damastzugwebstuhl aus dem Jahre 1835 und den letzten Frottierhandwebstuhl Deutschlands.
Weiterhin zählen zum Museumsbestand Exponate zur Ortsgeschichte, bürgerliche Wohnkultur und eine naturkundliche Sammlung. Ausgestellt sind auch Werke der bildenden Kunst, besonders von Johann Eleazar Zeissig .
